Starting next week we will begin posting a series of interviews we're conducting with bloggers in the atheist community. We feel that there are so many fascinating stories and backgrounds out there in the atheist blogoshphere, and so little that people really know about the writers, that we'd do our part to spread the word. In the end, we hope to help build a stronger community across the various sites out there, and get some good dialog going.
We plan on posting the first interview in this series this coming week. Stay tuned!
P.S. If you run a blog and would like to participate, we'd love to have you. Just leave us a note in the comments and we'll get back to you.

If you interview anyone, you need to interview The Raving Atheist. He's not blogging there any longer (as far as I know that is), but he was one of the very first. Andy from World Wide Rant as well. Again, he was one of the very first.
Then there's Psycho Dave who's been writing about atheism and wacky Christians at Weirdcrap.com since about 1995 - before blogging even existed.
Then there's my own blog, UTI that has been on the scene since January of 2001. PZ didn't burst onto the stage until 2004 or so (I think).
Good idea, though!
I'd be glad to participate. My net atheism goes back to the alt.atheism Usenet era; I've been blogging since 2003. I don't blog exclusively on one topic; only 133 of my 1,924 posts are tagged "atheism". However it's probably the subject that's closest to my heart.
